the price of the CPU is small compared to all the other stuff you will need. there's a motherboard, ram, power supply, and drive to consider as well. and an operating system, which could be free Linux or $80 for Windows.

The Intel Pentium G3xxx series would be ideal for that purpose.

Would it be much different from the g1840 (which is a lot cheaper)?
The G3258 is the best deal at 49.99, didn't see that before, and yeah take that over the G1840 Celeron. Worth the 10 dollars more.
I'm in italy and it actually costs 20$ more, which makes it 50% more expensive... is it worth it (related to my goal)?
In my opinion any new CPU will be sufficient for web browsing and word processing. So buy the one that you want. You will be good if you don't stream 4K video and don't buy something like core 2 duo .
Aside that my recommendation would be to buy the latest Pentium G if you can afford it, like the ones with number G4xxx, as they will have better graphics and support DDR4 ram. So you can use the ram later in a future build. But newer tech costs more. There will always be trade off, choose the trade off that you can live with.
