best cpu for a b250 pro vd

I wanted to upgrade my pc my current motherboard is a msi b250m pro vd and I would like to get a better cpu to fit with a 1080 ftw, will my motherboard support better cpu or do I have to buy a new motherboard, I want to get rid of the bottleneck is so annoying, pls something not too expensive but not too cheap

The best CPU on that socket would be the i7-7700K, or the locked variant, the i7-7700.

Either CPU would pair pretty nicely with a 1080 but, depending on the games/resolution etc, you could probably get away with an i5 and still max out both.
