Best CPU For ABIT NF7-S Motherboard?

Hi im abit of a noob when it comes to this so i came to you guys for some help again. My computer is running from a Abit NF7-S. I use my computer for gaming mostly. I was wondering what is the best possible CPU i can buy that would fit my motherboard that would be the best for gaming?

I have a mobile barton 2500 in one of my computers which is overclocked to 2.3 ghz, but I have heard the 2600+ is a better overclocker. I dont know about availibility for these older chips.

i wouldnt upgrade unless your below an athlon 2100, but then most athlon xp systems are becomeing obsolete i know i only have about a year left outta my oc'ed rig.

I use an XP3000 OC'd to 2.509 ghz with a thermaltake silent tower cooling solution, however any XP you buy now are expensive because they are no longer made. Have you priced going up to a Athlon 64 processor?
