Best CPU for Asus Maximus VII Ranger

Hi all,

As the title suggest what is the best cpu for this motherboard, I currently have a I5 4690k and 980ti and have pre-ordered a rift CV1 to play Project cars, the rift is single core dependent, what are my options if the I5 4690k is not up to the job?

Best you could get is a Core i7-4790K, but your cpu would be sufficient.
