Best CPU for Gaming for the price.

Ive been looking at the Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz QuadCore 8MB lately which goes for 279£

What is the best CPU right now for gaming,around the same price, with a 1070 & 16gb RAM

The I5-8600K would give better performance.

The i5 8600k if you can find one or a Ryzen R5 1600 or 1600x are both pretty good for their prices. However the i7 7700k is still a strong contender.
