Best CPU for GTX 1050 Ti Asus Expedition under 300$?

Hello,
As you can see in the title , i need help to chose a new CPU under 300$ for my computer
It has 8GB RAM and GTX 1050 Ti Asus Expedition in it.
I use it mostly for gaming and for editing videos for my youtube channel.
I'd rather take Intel CPUs because i heard that they are better than AMD

AMD has nowadays some great CPUs

What motherboard do you currently have?
What ram?

The 7700k is right and $308 or so.

If that is out of budget , I'd go for R5-1600 build....
