best cpu for msi 7548 aspen

I have an msi 7548 apsen mobo with an amd phenom x4 9650 2.3ghz cpu and i was wondering if i could replace the cpu with a better one for cheap and which one i should use.

Or should i just keep what i have since i just want an average pc that can run games like sc2 and skyrim on med settings.

Also is there any way to overclock with this mobo?

EDIT:
Time for a new MB and CPU and etc. Something that old and that outdated CPU would not be worth OC'ing, IMO. The CPU's instruction set is old and very lacking.

I have about ~ 40 to spend on a computer amd i have one that will play the older less demanding games i want fine. Instead of buying a cpu for this mobo i will buy a new computer when i have some money.
