Theres a lot of LGA 1150 processors out there, however we need to know your motherboard make/model to know what works. Most Cores i5's around $190 will do the trick for you (the R9 270 doesn't need a ton of horsepower), but lets double check your board to make sure its compatible.
The 4670K is unlocked so you can even overclock it a bit if you want. Its the highest core i5 that board supports and will be fine with the R9 270, or better if you decide to move up some day.
Hello ive recentley bought g3258 and it bottlnecks my gpu so i want to upgrade to a cpu which can work good with the gpu 🙂
The g3258 and r9 270 are a fairly good match. What game(s) are you having trouble with?
That's what I wonder as well. G3258 has no isses with 270 in terms of bottlenecking; if anything, the exact game you play is a CPU resource hog which needs more than 2 threads to run efficiently. Not much you can do here, as even overclocking won't help much. Core i3 would improve things visibly, and core i5 would improve them a lot.
LucoTF I Want to play GTA 5 (Tried All Settings and Unpark Cpu) But Still Even Though The Cpu Has Been Overclocked to 4.2 and others below still bottlenecking I ran the benchmark on the gta and basicly had 60 fps at one point and second later it freezes and keep happing continually
No joy with GTA V and pure dual core CPUs, sir, no matter how fast they are. You need i3 at the very least, preferably i5. Days of using pure dual cores without hyperthreading for gaming are officially over starting from 2015.
