I have recently started building a computer and wanted to get a cooler for the CPU. my motherboard is an asus H110M-K motherboard. I am looking for a cheap but effective cooler second hand for under £60

Well, if you're using this for work you probably don't want to overclock anyway. So a 120mm AIO is an easy recommendation. The Corsair H55 and EVGA CLC 120 are only as good as cheaper DeepCool and Cooler Master models, but they both have five-year warranties, if you need specific recommendations.
+1 to the 120mm AIO. You should be able to find a new one for less than £60. One thing to keep in mind is that most AIOs are licensed designs (mainly from Asetek and CoolIT), so the main difference will be the included fan. For example he Corsair H55 and EVGA CLC 120 are essentially the same Asetek design (integrated block+pump, 27mm thick radiator) with superficially different block designs and different fan models. The EVGA is usually $10-20 cheaper here in the US. I'm seeing a DeepCool model for ~£35 on PCPP UK that looks similar to higher-priced CLCs.
