I have an Acer Aspire M3470g-uw10p desktop, it currently have a AMD A6-3620 Quad Core 2.20GHz CPU in it, what would be my options as far as getting a better CPU for it?

I'm not looking to change out the Motherboard just yet, but I just wanted to see what my upgradable options are. I think I saw somewhere that it can take an A8 or something like that.

Yep as i said in first A8-3870k is only upgrade option for that motherboard.
Or going for haswell i5-4460 and H81 motherboard since you have DDR3 ram?
Im not sure will it help with rendering...
If you can find under 50$ it should be handy but not too much.
As for googling i've found only A8-3870k is viable upgrade path, but as it is OEM system it might be pointless to upgrade it.
Well from my perspective i think this system is over 7 years old i would not upgrade it just for CPU, i would personally save up money for better system.

Its similar to i3 3220 soo im not sure, its not powerfull, it has HD6550 which is weak, i would go for new system as this one OEM and that means without manual you don't know can you put PCIE GPU without PCIE power limit and that stuff, is the PSU normal in it or?
Can you see which motherboard model is it?

I have a GeForce GTX 1050 installed, and 12gb of ram, and a 500w power supply, so I don't think power will be an issue, the motherboard model is Acer Aspire M3470G (PO), the chip set model is K12 bridge

That's all I could find out.
