[SOLVED] Best CPU to pair with GTX 1660S?

Hey, what's the best CPU to pair with GTX 1660S? Looking for a more budget friendly type of a CPU.

Also, is it safe to purchase them second hand?

GTX 1660S, I3 10100F, 8 gb ram, 2666mhz, motherboard ASROCK H410M-HVS, 1 TB hard disk, two fans.

That 10100F 4 cores 8 threads will be ok for that GPU but having a 6 cores 12 threads like a 10400 would def help pushing a few more FPS to that GPU.

Does an I7-10700 make a big difference?

A 6 cores 12 threads CPU is ok for now. 8 cores 16 threads is ok for now and probably ok in a few years too. So it's up to you. The important thing really is to get away from a quad cores

The 1660 Super won't have any issue with any of those CPU anyway. The video below is not with a 1660 super but it's just to show the difference in fps between them.

I had a question. Does the processor only boost FPS and such or fix problems like stuttering as well?

Unlikely unless the CPU is thermal throttling (overheating) or is just too old like a dual core CPU on a game like Warzone.
