i3 6100 @ $147 CAD at the moment.
If you want something a bit beefier grab an i5 6400 for around $230.
Pairing either of these with a H110 or H170 chipset motherboard should set you up nicely, as both are essentially quad core. (the i3 is a hyperthreaded dual core)
