AMD FX 4100 is probably your best bet, or you could go with the 4300 which has a higher clocked speed ;3

FX chips do not support DDR2 ram...

OP, we need to know the make and model of your motherboard to give you the best recommendation. All I can say right now is that it will be either a Phenom II or an Athlon II at best.

AM3+ cpu's do not support ddr2! But AM3 do but not any new on the market.

its ASRock N68-S(AM2 Socket but it supports AM3 CPU'S TILL 95 WATT)
