Im a newbie.. first time building a pc and have really ZERO knowledge in building one ill be just watching youtube videos. Anyhow, is the R9 380 OC necessary if i don't know how to OC? and how much is it to install windows? AND will i be able to plug in a ethernet cable? (I dont like wifi gaming) Thank you Archaic59! The Nitro card is already overclocked for you. All you do is install it. Simple! A windows license is around $100 give or take a few bucks. You can buy it on disc but you need a dvd drive to install it. You can add a dvd drive to your build for around $15. Yes, all newer motherboards have built-in ethernet. Just plug in your cable.

There won't be much to upgrade. It's a good fast CPU but you can upgrade to an i7 later on if you want. You can upgrade the video card if you want. You'll have to wait till then to see what the power requirements are for new cards. There's only 2 memory slots on the motherboard so you can't add any more but you could replace them with larger capacity sticks if you really needed to. There's a motherboard slot to add a wifi card if you want one.

is there any alternative for the graphics card? does it have to be SAPPHIRE? how about MSI Radeon R9 2gb OC Gaming Version? my local Frys dont have it... neither bestbuy.... and online order takes days to come and my spring break starts tmrw.

You can use any brand you want. I picked that one because Sapphire is really good with AMD cards. MSI also makes good video cards. The power supply will support up to Nvidia GTX 980 or AMD R9 380. The Silverstone case I listed will fit video cards up to 14 inches long so you should not have any problems with any video card size.

Of course it is. Without cooling, your CPU temps will skyrocket. With due respect, Archaic59, that build probably needs a slightly lower end CPU and GPU, in change for a color scheme, cooling, and a better motherboard.

It's a very small case and with the parts installed there's 5 fans running in that little thing. You could add one in the rear but it may not even be necessary. Stock fan on locked cpu is fine. It's not going to get that hot to be a problem. The build maximizes performance for the given budget.
