Best DDR4 Ram for X99?

Will Crucial Ballistix Sport 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin be suitable for my X99 build? It looks like it does not support channeling, though I will be able to walk away with it for $300. The latency is the only thing that scares me. I will be using this for rendering and I want the best possible performance for the best possible price, and considering the price this might be what I'm looking for.

That's a great price, not sure what exact set but CL15 and 16 is typical right now for 2400 DDR4 sticks

Is there a noticeable difference between CL15 and 16?

Very small, not that you will notice, especially w/ 32GB

Which would be better: Ripjawz 4 x 4 DDR4 2800 with channeling CL 15
or
Ballistix 4 x 8 DDR4 2400 CL 16

Consider they are the same price.

Far and away the RJs, with the CL15, if you were to downclock them to 2400 would have a nice tight (for DDR4) CL13

How can the RJs be better when they have less memory?

My bad, thought both 32GB as that's what you were looking at before, sorry...though performance wise if 16GB is sufficient, then the 2800 sticks are better as mentioned
