guys,
i'm looking for a best suitable ddr5 graphics card under rs6000...
my system config is--
i3 540@3.07ghz,8gbddr3 ram,2gb ddr3 nvidia geforce 520...
i want to change my graphics card........
i heard ddr5 is faster than ddr3....
my budget is low.....but please help

Solution

Yes, but even with a 750 ti you would have to use low settings and lower resolution than 1080p.
Seriously, what idiot in India is giving you this false info? Third one in four days!

No such thing as DDR5, and memory speed doesn't matter considering your system or budget.

For that price, your only real option is the AMD 250 or 240, neither of which is any good. Increase your budget by 50% and you can get a good GPU like the 750Ti or 260.

His old GT 520 has DDR3 and he wants to make sure his new GPU has GDDR5, that's all.

Seems there is a huge amount of misinformation in india. DDR5 does not exist, what does exist is the completely different GDDR5, but you won't find anything with it other than the AMD R5 250 I mentioned already, at least not in your budget range, new and not yet replaced by something better.

If you can't get a 250, save more money and get a 750Ti (which is far better)

this comes under my budget ZOTAC NVIDIA GT 730 2GB 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card - Rs.5790.......
should i go for this.....is this compatible----
PowerColor AMD/ATI AXR7 240-1GBD5-HV2E/OC 1 GB DDR5 Graphics Card

i want better GPU than my prevoius one, which should improve my gaming...that's all..........which should support my system......

Performance won't be much different. The Zotac has 2GB GDDR5 memory I would go for that.

Neither is going to be good enough for medium settings in modern games even at 720p, but might work.

you suggested me 64 bit,902 MHz GPU clock in zotac...
as far as ati has 128bit,1150MHz..with Maximum Resolution 4096x2160 (Digital)..........does this would'nt make any difference???

It's pretty clear you have no idea about computers, so either one will work for you. Get the cheaper one.

If you want better graphics, spend more and get a 750ti

i cant understand why you all fools act so oversmart having knowledge then.........
to inform you i have an engineering degree in computers............""not in hadware""
if you can't help politely then do me a favour do not answer me..........

that was not meant for you...............

To be honest I don't really know. It's a very low power card and it hardly ever comes up in discussions here. Basroil was correct about the GTX 750 ti. It's the lowest powered card that can play today's games. It is much more powerful than the GT 730 or R7 240. It would be best to wait and save some more money for it.

ok...it means i should wait and save to buy 750ti.....
would this(750ti) support my system enough to play latest games??

would it run syndicate on my system?

Yes, but even with a 750 ti you would have to use low settings and lower resolution than 1080p.

Solution

it looks this would not support my system..........6pin cable would need it for that.........
it think r7 260x does'nt have VGA port?
as i'm using CRT display.....i prefer this more over LED's and TFT....
