Every day, we see users posting limited-time deals for components critical to building and upgrading systems. These are often great deals and extremely useful when you are in the market for new components. Some of these deals are the types you'd find on Black Friday, while others are just plain good buys for the value. Unfortunately, they are scattered across our active forums in a thousand different threads at any point in time.

We feel strongly that everyone should have a crack at the best products for the best price, and as your trusted tech news source, the Community Team is undertaking an effort to provide to provide a venue for sharing these with everyone, and we're leaning on the massive number of eyeballs that you all have to help us scour the web and bring home the bacon for our penny-pinching forum warriors.

To that end, we're hosting these Deals threads as stickies here in the Classifieds section to serve as a repository for great buys found online that our community wants to share. The guidelines are simple:

Please include in each deal post-
• A link and coupon code where appropriate.
• The name and a short description of the item
• The price of the deal and why you think it's a great deal

A "Deal" is defined as:
• A deep (10-50%+) discount on a product
• A substantial bargain - that is, something for sale more cheaply than is usual or expected
• Getting something useful of considerable value in addition to a usual purchase

Periodically, a moderator or curator will review the thread for expired deals and mark those as such with a strikeout tag. We strongly encourage users to post deals they themselves are buying, and share these great finds with others here.

For this thread, please post the best, most awesome deals you can find on CPUs.

As before, we wouldn't ask for something we're not willing to get rolling ourselves. Here's some really great deals culled from our Editorial Team on CPUs. As before, a few of these are time-sensitive.

Intel Pentium G2030 3.0GHz LGA 1155 Boxed Processor
http://www.microcenter.com/product/415088/Pentium_G2030_30GHz_LGA_1155_Boxed_Processor

If you are near a Micro Center and trying to build a budget system for web browsing, video streaming, or even light gaming the Penitum G2030 is an excellent choice. The Pentium G2030 is based on the 22nm Ivy Bridge architecture, meaning it is stays relatively cool making it well suited for mini-ITX systems as well. The integrated graphics chip inside is not capable of playing modern video games, but should work well for any non-gaming purpose. At Micro Center this processor can be purchased for only $44.99.

AMD FX-4350 Vishera Quad-Core 4.2GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD4350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

If you are needing more performance than the Pentium G2030, but are still on a tight budget, the AMD FX 4350 might be the best choice for you. Compared to the AMD FM2/FM2+ CPUs which do not have L3 cache, this system has 8MB of L3 cache which helps boost performance. In addition it can be overclocked, and has four hardware threads which help in multitasking environments. As a result this CPU is great for light gaming computers, and drops 10% down to $89.99.

AMD A10-6800K Quad-Core APU Richland Processor 4.1GHz Socket FM2, Retail (Black Edition)

Another excellent budget system processor is the AMD A10-6800K. This processor uses a modified version of the architecture found inside of current AMD FX processors. It lacks L3 cache which might hurt it in some situations, but the architecture improvements have other small performance and efficiency gains. The most important feature of this processor is the integrated GPU inside of the APU, allowing it to play many modern video games. The APU might only manage to play games on medium or even low settings, but compared to buying a GPU this can be a money saving way to get a light gaming computer. Use promo code "TIFA67810" To knock $10 off the cost.

Intel Core i5-4440 Haswell Processor 3.1GHz 5.0GT/s 6MB LGA 1150 CPU
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=I5-4440BOX&c=CJ

The Intel Core i5-4440 CPU based on the Haswell architecture offers excellent performance. With four CPU cores running at 3.1 GHz, this CPU has excellent multi-tasking capabilities, and is best suited for users who do a lot of multi-tasking and mid-range gamers. If you aren't gaming the integrated graphics chip inside of the CPU should be enough for anything you do on the system as well. Use promo code "TIFA67910" to knock another $10 off the cost.

Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54460 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117302&Tpk=N82E16819117302

This one is basically a slightly faster version of the Intel Core i5-4400. The I5-4460 offers slightly higher clock speed, allowing for slightly higher performance, but overall its basically the same. Use promo code "EMCARNK22" To get it for $179.99.
