Best dual 6 pin graphics card

I was wondering what is the best graphics card that requires 2 6 pin connectors or less.

There are likely no graphic cards that have only two 6-Pin PCI-E power connectors. Instead, it would have 1 8-Pin PCI-E power connector. The 6-Pin conveys an additional 75 watts of power. The 8-Pin (or 6+2 Pin) conveys up to 150 watts of power. So you're looking for a single 8-Pin, a single 6-Pin or no additional power required graphics cards.

There are some GTX 1080s that only require a single 6+2 Pin PCI-E power connector, so that would be the best card.

If you have a PSU that only has 6-pin connectors and not 6+2 pin, you can always get a 6-pin to 8-pin adapter. Of course, your PSU has to have the necessary +12V rail specs. And the 6-pin cable has to have 3 (+) and 3 (-) wires of at least #18 AWG.

Personally, I'd recommend a new power supply with the necessary cables as a default rather than using an adapter, but it *should* work for you.

A new PSU would be best, of course. But until you provide more specs, we are just guessing here. Is it an old PSU that it only has 6 pin connectors, rather than 6+2?

Which 1KW PSU? You don't need 1KW, just good quality.

2 of the colorful cards actually use dual 6-pin connections. if you're in the part of the world where you can get the colorful brand cards.

It's a 2006 Mac Pro.

My brother wants to upgrade it.

It's actually 980 watts.

I don't use macs and I can't convince my brother to switch to windows because he says it is not user friendly.
