Best ethernet cable type for an Xfinity router?

Which is the best for a Xfinity router? Is there a specific one I need or will any work? Also, are there some ethernet cables that are better than others? Some that might make it faster, I mean. My computer is very far away from my router and I can't move the router, unfortunately. It's taken a toll on steaming videos, playing multiplayer video games, and just browsing the web in general.
