I agree. I bought the collectors DVD version.

5 minutes in, it became the best game I ever played. And I just got the gravity gun, and it's even better now!

I personally still rate CoD as my fave shooter.. HL2 is a brilliant game but falls down in the parts that I want in an FPS

The gravity gun is just insane. There's nothing more entertaining than those damn sawblades. Although killing soldiers with a radiator comes as a close second. Killing zombies with a tire (insert bad puns here) is a close third. And killing soldiers with their own grenades (yes, this works, but you best be quick about it) comes in as a close fourth. And so on. Actually ... there's a pretty heavy lamp in that little town just in front of the bridge that is fun to shoot around as well because it's small and weighty and just a bit perverse. And then there are the land mines. The paint cans splatter! And though slow to kill, there's something wrong about bludgeoning someone to death with a medipack.

Hmm ... the gravity gun just adds so much entertainment.

I'm still not too impressed with driving around that darn buggy. The airboat was more fun and had a better weapon, IMHO. And I'm slightly miffed that you can't steal those car/tank/thingies. :\
