Best external hard drive

I am looking for good external hard drive.
I am thinking about:
wd my passpor ultra and samsung m3 portable. Which is better to choose ?
1 tb of course

Both are good drives, but I would get the WD Passport Ultra if the prices were close. Has an additional 1 year of warranty coverage, and WD has very good customer service.
