Best External HDD for video recording?

System Specs:
Dell Optiplex 780 DT
4gb Ram
Intel Q9650 Quad Core
GTX 730 1gb (DDR5)
2- 2tb WD 7200 HDD in Raid 1

Since I don't have USB 3.0 but I DO have an E-Sata port, what external drive should I get to run FRAPS or Dxtory on? The trial versions tax my disc drives to the point of 10fps during recording. Also, running E-Sata what speeds should I see for uploading video to (both write speed to the drive and FPS in video)? Thank you! Also, budget is around $100 for the drive.

I believe Seagate still makes externals with eSata.
eSata drives work just as fast as they would internally.
