best external sound card?

ASUS XONAR U7 is a great external sound card, I'm buying one myself just past christmas

I have now bought the Asus Xonar U7, and it is brilliant. Really worth the money. I havent done any real tests with it, but you immediately hear that the sound quality has been greatly improved, and it also comes with loads of cool features.
If you are planning on installing in in Windows 10, use the Windows 8 version, not the one for Windows 8.1.
