If you want two or more monitors you better go with 7870-7950. As suggested, an AMD build will be perfect for gaming (on more than one monitor).

Also, don't always count on the prices you listed. It will probably be more than $1000.

Yes the rig is for my intro into pc gaming, but I am also just looking for an overall fast computer that I am multitask with ease (hence the two monitors) I know an AMD build might give me some better options, but from the beginning I wanted the new haswells so that is why choose this. So do you think it can support two monitors, remember just for multitasking.

If it's just for multitasking, you'll do absolutely fine! The Intel iGPU supports three monitors alone, so that GPU can handle it with ease. You'll also get decent fps on low-medium settings on newer games with that card, too.

thanks for the feedback, but one last question. If I switch to AMD what are the major advantages?

If you switch to AMD you'll be able to afford a better GPU which does the bulk of the work when gaming anyway. AMD is an excellent option for people on a budget who want the best performance they can get for their money.

On a side note: Just noticed you've chosen a Z87 board for your build. You aren't overclocking so just grab a H87 board instead - they're cheaper.
