You need a mb with a 970 series chipset

IMO the best available is the ASUS M5A97 R2.0
[ dont be tempted by the LE version though ]

Alternatives are the Asrock 970extreme3, and gigabyte make some excellent 970 boards as well but they cost more

it also depends on how good your power supply and cpu cooler are too , but the 760G chipset on your mb is a pretty basic and older peice of hardware .

With the ASUS I mentioned you should get 4.7+ GHz depending

I got a 850watt bronze psu and a hyper 101 cooler with two nice fans. At 4.1 the chip never gets above 48c

I've only had MSI with the FX series CPUs. I would not recommend it. They limit the voltage, and the bios is very screwy.

That is an excellent mb , but no real advantage over the M5A97 R2.0 since the main difference is dual graphics card support the OP doesnt want
