Best free ghost/imaging software?

Now, I don't want to seem too lazy, I did do a forum search on this, but the answers I came up with were either pretty dang old, or too varied. So, if I may ask, can someone please provide me with some good, free software that I can use to transfer my data from my old HDD to my new one? The HDD I bought was a bare drive, and therefore came with no software to do so. Thanks a bunch!

Use acronis for seagate or western digital.

Well, that is what I am transferring to. My old HDD came in my dell inspiron, and I dont know what it is.

Your dell inspiron probably use seagate drives.
