Best Free Partitioning Software

Hello, everybody!

What is the best free software to resize a system running server 2012 and 2008 as VM? The whole disk space is allocated, btw, and do not want to mess everything and reinstall it all; I use it for lab purposes. My laptop died and do not have money to buy another. I want to install Win7 to be able to dual boot for my daily pc use - all in one machine while I can afford another laptop. I have seen a few programs, but want your suggestions since, again, the whole disk space is allocated, and I've heard some horror stories about messed up systems after playing with already allocated space.

What did you use to create your VMs? What are you trying to dual boot and why? Below on VMWare you can move VMs over easily. You can grab the VM files off your old disk and then partition the drive how you want. Look into how to move your VM for what ever software you used if it's not VMware.

Thank you for taking the time to address my question.
It is a rather old PC I am using as "lab." The system is running server 2012 (native) and is running 2008 in Hyper V. I would like to use the already allocated free space to install Win 7, so I can dual boot and use Win 7 for daily use.

i use this one when the normal disk management does not do what i need it to do.

hasn't failed me yet to resize or create new partitions. standard edition is free to use and fully functional.

For any partitioning on this scale, you really need a full drive image off to elsewhere, before you click that GO button.
