I have started to record some of my gameplay videos to upload to YouTube, mainly so I can watch the back later and show it off to friends, but because I use fraps, all my videos are put into 4GB chunks. And I have a lot because I record at 60FPS. So, I am wondering if there is any easy to use and free video editing and recording software which will do the following:
1. Allow me to render at 60FPS
2. Allow me to have simple stereo audio
3. Render into small files sizes so I don't have to wait a year and a half to upload.
4. Be clean and easy to use

This may seam a bit upfront, and for this I'm sorry.

I hope you guys can help, you always have 😛

Could you guys give me a hand setting up the settings so I can get the smallest size video possible but with the best quality?
Now, this is going to be weird but I need it in 1280x1024 res. I also want it in 60FPS.

Any help?

I have the full recording and I have already rendered it once, but I don't want to render it again unless I know it is going to be a small file size, easy to upload.

The first setting I used were:
1280x1024
Data rate: 17096kbps
Total bitrate: 17263kbps
Frame rate: 60 frames/second

Audio

Bit rate: 194kbps
Channel: 2 (stereo)
Audio sample rate: 48kHz

PS - I kinda know nothing about what bitrate is or anything like that. All I know is I will follow what you guys suggest and I hope it will be good video and audio quality without having to have a 1GB+ file at the end to upload.

Hello, but I suspect that window movie maker isn't for free, as I have downloaded it and before installation it asks to read the contact carefully and there is written that the user will agree to pay for any third part source associated to windows movie maker - I am not reporting the exact words but that's the meaning I have read. Thus, I haven't installed it as I am afraid I will have to pay later for it.

I have had WMM for months, and haven't had to pay once for it. It is saying third party so that is something not directly related to WMM.
