Greetings, I am interested to capture video from consoles, but I am not interested to do live streaming with them. I mention that because I always find the streaming demand all over the forums after googling around.

I found elgato game capture hd60 good but the input video is limited with the 1080p-30fps. I would like to get the 60fps performance (at 1080p) just to store in my computer.

I have read that there is some lag when streaming videos but since I am not interested to stream,I wonder if I will suffer lag. ( I want to record, to storage and later edit the footage)

I saw avermedia's website and i found a device that can get the input of 1080p video at 60fps.is an external card. I guess that is my best option. not sure if there is more options over there to meet the requirements i am looking for.

I also was trying to find an internal (PCI express) capture card that could meet the requirements but I didnt find anything.

Just for the record:

If you want to know what consoles I want to record:
xbox one-Xbox 360\
PS4-PS3-PS2
Nintendo gamecube.
Since the older consoles dont use HDMI and are limited to 30fps, I guess is not a problem to capture the video.

my system:
cpu-i7 4770k
gpu-asus matrix platinum R9280x
Storage:SSD for windows 7 64 bits, HDD for files storage.
Ram: Corsair Dominator 4gbx2 (8gb)

Thanks in advance.

mmm but the shadowplay is not intended only for PC gameplay recording? (there are some software like FRAPS or DXtory than can do that)

I googled the shadowplay and it seems it cant capture from video game consoles (Xbox, playstation, etc?

btw I plan to upgrade to nvidia the next year.
