[SOLVED] Best Gaming Headphones under $50?

I've been using a single Walmart checkout line earbud for the past 2 years, and need an upgrade, but I'm not sure what to go with. I have a dedicated Blue Snowball microphone, so I'm not really looking for a headset, more for headphones/headset with a removable mic. Thanks for the help!

Sorry for being a little subjective xD I'd like something that looks nice and sounds the best they can for the money I'm spending, ya know? Not to Chinese gamery but not overly retro

The Cloudx is just the xbox variant of the cloud cores, it is basically the same headset but it has an inline control module and works with xbox controllers.
It also has adapters that make it work with PC. Overall, thats probably your best bet considering the cloud cores are 60 bucks.

Check out the Corsair Void. If you look around you can get it for your budget. I have mine for 2-3 years with no issues

these will work great for you. I would get them for 50$, the Cloud Core are also nice, I have the Cloud II and they are fantastic

That just depends on personal preference, I find that the in line controls like that tend to cause more points of failure down the line. Less areas for cables to bend against the better.
Plus, who uses in line controls on PC anyway?

You looking for headphones or a headset with a mic? Headset with a mic / gaming headset and I can't really help. I just don't know anything about them. Headphones I might can recommend something. Just gaming or music too? Top budget?

I already have a Blue Snowball, So I'm looking for headphones. I'd use them mostly for gaming, but also music and general use. My max budget can fluctuate, so say $50-80? If there's something substantially better for a lil more that'd be alright, but preferably stay around $50

Super cheap, Monoprice Retro. For the price you can't beat it. That being said you get what you pay for.

Now in the same basic entry level pricing- Philips SHP9500s. These are somewhat bright but they hit above their price range. They get a lot of hype. Open back.

Status CB-1 - A closed back alternative. Open/closed do different things well but the CB-1 also tends to hit above its price.

Creative Aurvana Live! - Build quality is 'meh' but sound quality is way better than the price suggests. Excellent bass here. Closed back.

I loved MonoPrice but as every budget wired can ends up they did too, broken cord. However, I don't like Creative's headphones, I think it's just because I had worse experience with their first one which I'm carrying along lol.
