I like cheap, wired, low-profile key-action, laptop style keyboards that look very standard.
I once bought a fancy "gaming" keyboard with offset Number Pad and ergonomically correct qwerty keys. It was horrible because once you learn to "game" on it, it is more difficult to game on another keyboard so you find yourself wanting to replace that keyboard with the same model which doesn't always exist anymore. I put the extra money into a gaming mouse with multiple programmable buttons instead... I like the logitech G500.
