The regular. 4K is going to look really funny on a 15" monitor.

The ASUS G750JM-DS71 looks nice, although I think it's overpriced. You don't need more than 8GB of RAM for gaming and an i5 processor will do fine.

Ah crud, you're right. For the Lenovo Y50, if you select the i7 CPU + the 8GB SSD they force you to select (if you get anything larger, you can't get a HDD, which I don't think is a good idea), you'll still be within your price range. The ASUS laptop is starting to look more reasonable now, lemme look at the specs again. Sorry about the wrong info.

Yeah, the Acer Nitro Black that you were originally looking at seems to be the best deal. Quad-core processor with a 860M looks nice and 8GB RAM looks nice.
