I'm working on my first computer build and could use some help picking out a monitor. I plan on mostly gaming with my new rig, especially for games like Battlefield 3/Skyrim. There are a lot of brand names and a lot of tech-talk that gets thrown around about the best features in each monitor for gaming? I've read for instance that if you can, say, get your rig to run a game consistently in 120 FPS, then you should get a 120hz monitor. I've also read that 2ms monitors boast a noticeable improvement over 5ms monitors.

Unfortunately, a 120hz/2ms monitor is well beyond my budget. So could someone direct me to a great monitor, preferably around 22-24 inches, 1080p, with the best response time and hertz for under 200?

You can't notice the difference between 2ms and 5ms without the use of software to tell you. If you put two monitors side by side , one with 2ms and the other with 5ms you still wouldn't be able to tell.
I went from a 2ms to a 7ms and couldn't tell the difference in gaming or just everyday use.

Just in case you wanted one of the better monitors for gaming that is highly recomended , but however is not in your price range unless you won some money on a scratch ticket or somethig , you could take a look at this monitor.

Any significant difference between those Asus monitors you listed?

I was originally interested in purchasing the BenQ monitor you linked, but, being that I am going to be running consoles as well, I decided not to. I heard performance takes a hit when not running in 120hz.

I am just looking for a solid 24" monitor for gaming.
If one has benefits over the others, I would appreciate the input.
Based on reviews, they all seem rather on par with each other.

Or the Asus VS248H, it's more cheaper, but its specs is not as well as BenQ RL2455HM, recommend you read this article:
