I just completed my first build was super fun and great success - https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bjuniper/saved/
I’m in need of a new gaming monitor.
Targeting 27” curved, gsync compatible with a healthy refresh rate for under $500. I have my eye on the Asus models but tough to find in stock.
Curious what your suggestions may be. Mainly playing Warzone.

For 27" I'd go 1440P as text will be a bit clearer over 1080P but also since monitors are typically the least upgraded part in a built you'd probably want something that will last awhile. Some games you may need to lower the graphic settings a little bit to hit 144hz but I think going 1440P is a better investment over 1080P.

If you are mainly playing warzone and are the "Competitive type of person" I would go with a 1080P resolution with High settings or if you do go 1440p you will have to sacrifice some graphical settings

OBVIOUSLY the above is my personal opinion and experience, noticing drops to 100fps in intense scenes on warzone using 1440p via 1080ti is a real pain and I notice it, so if you want to constantly see 144fps go with the 1080p Monitor

use this video this as a guide and keep an eye on the FPS output and top left of the video (More less shows it from all angles)

I like this website to see a monitor's performance, they have a rating for gaming.

Edit: Stick with 1080p for your RTX 2060.
