It's strange that DPI (dots per inch) are never taken into account of monitor quality evaluation. With higher DPI monitor there is no need to enable the expensive anti-aliasing and the image quality is improved a lot. My personal choice is 110 DPI, as found on 27" monitors @ 2560x1440. It means the pixels has only 0.233 millimeters in size. When you get used to this DPI you will find the 92 DPI shown in FHD 24" monitors ugly and unpleasant, with this 0,277 mm. As reference, a FHD, 5.2" smartphone has around 424 DPI and 0,060mm pixel size.
