What is your current system to drive it? Adaptive sync monitors is well worth it and/or high refresh rates, but need to know what GPU you have and what upgrade plans may look like (if you're close).

This is as it is, might make some small changes.
I just want thin bezels.
We still need to know what GPU you have to make an accurate judgment on the correct refresh rate, panel, resolution, and response time you want or need. I can guess you would like the response time to be as close to 1 as possible, the resolution will probably need to be 1080p at sub-200, and the panel will definitely be TN for sub-200; it still leaves the refresh rate and none of what I said could be correct unless you tell us.
90% of 144hz 1080p panels are TN due to the fact that they like to market as gaming monitors, and therefore need to market a '1ms response time' on their monitor, and keep their pricing competitive with the cheap cost of TN.
This also widely increases their target audience.
IPS is not really an economically viable option with a 1080p 144hz monitor, and the market for 1080p 144hz is evidence of that.
