So I recently upgraded to a Razer DeathAdder Chroma(2014 Edition) from a USB wireless Logitech K260. From day one to now I absolutely loved the mouse but I find my hands getting sweaty rather quickly when I did not have that problem with the k260 at all. So I tried going back to the k260 but the DPI just seems way too slow now and im at a stage where I dont want to get a mouse without two side buttons.

Does anyone have any recommendations? What type of material mouse am I looking for?
Is the Logitech G502 likely to cause sweaty palms?

Im a heavy FPS gamer but no matter what length of time I used the k260 for I never got sweaty palms, within 10 minutes of using the DeathAdder they start to get a little sweaty..

Bit of an odd topic but any help is appreciated!

it looks as if the materials used in construction are similar. both look to use rough textured plastic.

my guess would be the difference in how you are holding the mice. the more contact your hand and fingers have with a mouse the more your hands will heat up. i'm guessing here that you have more of a fingertip grip on the k260 and more of a palm grip on the deathadder due to the differences in shape and size.

i use a deathadder as well (the old rubberized top 3.5g) and generally do not have the sweat issue. typically i use a half fingertip half palm grip. while my palm does touch in some areas i typically have a slight gap between mouse and the majority of my palm. the only time my hands may heat up too much is when it is a very hot...

i've used the g502 and it felt similar in terms of contact materials though i used a bit more of a fingertip style grip due to its shape.

perhaps look into fingertip grip type mice or a small desk fan.
