Hi I am 14 and know nothing about choosing parts for a computer. I have been saving for a while and have £600 (or $1000) and am looking to get a gaming pc to run all games on highest (BF4 is a specific game I'd like) and hopefully last for a very long time. There are a few guides out there but I never know what to go for so a complete build would be great because as say: I know nothing!
Thanks a lot for your time

Solid amount of money to build a system with.

No just the computer itself

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Do you reckon this will run upcoming games like watchdogs etc etc?

Thank you I've been trying to figure it all out for ages and this has been so easy. Made my day buddy

are you going to be doing any video editing or anything like that? or do you plan to in the future? i gotta know wether or not to have it "Future-Proof" or not

Why not go with an i5/i7? more raw power, i doubt he'll need those extra cores if he's just gaming, although BF4/AMD's Mantle is the only thing to fully use all of the cores

An I5 would makes sense at around 800 pound budget, but if you were to try and fit that into his 600pound budget, then he would end up with a weaker graphics card, which is where the extra money is going to mean a lot more.

An I7, NEVER choose that above an I5 unless you are doing editing or similar work.

As you can see there. Taking an I5 already adds 70Quid to the price.
Just not worth dropping to a crappier GTX760 for that little bit of extra CPU power.

I know, i wasn't going to go with an i7, only advantage would be the HyperThreading, which i doubt a 14 year old would be fully able to utilize, but still, if his 600 pounds was about $1,000 american then you could get maybe a 4570 (I don't think OP is going to be overclocking) and a 770

Hi
1) I cant seem to find the motherboard on ccl
2) I was hoping for a cd drive what do you recommend (obviously going for a s cheap as i can here)
