Best Gaming PC for Budget ($800)

PC Gaming (with all the games) looks way better than I can get with my Xbox 360. I've always wanted to play games on my current PC but frankly it sucks! I can kinda play games like Minecraft and LoL but they run slow (25 frames at most with lowest settings). I want to build a PC and have been looking into it for a while. While I have some graphics card in mind, I don't know how to budget that with the other stuff (CPU, Motherboard ect). What would be the best bang for my buck Gaming PC at a price around $800? I was looking at playing games like Minecraft and Lol super fast at highest setting and also playing games like battlefield at good setting with good FPS! What components should I get (including the Graphics Card,Motherboard,CPU,Hard-drives and everything else)? Please help me with this so I can enjoy this experience!

I do not need a keyboard, monitor or mouse and while I do own a HDD, I would like to reset it so is it worth buying a new one or keeping all the data?

You can re format the HDD, but will you need a new OS or do you have one you can use as an OS on a budget PC chews up a lot of cash.

I'd rather get a new HDD or atleast clearing my current one (my current one is filled with junk)! I don't mind increasing my budget by much just to get a new OS, I'm just wondering one items would be best for my PC.

I was wondering if I should get windows 7 or 8? Is it just my choice because I like windows 7 much more. I also was wonding if I should get any optical drives and cooling fans and which ones? I don't mind adding them if they will add to the pc but are they worth it?

Apparently the case won't find the Video card: Compatibility Notes
In order to fit, the Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card may require removing drive bays from the NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case. The case only supports video cards up to 230mm in length without removing drive bays, while the video card is 297mm long.
Is this true?

I don't know why it says that, there's gtx780s in that case. 230mm is an extremely short clearance for a mid tower. that case will do everything you want, but you can grab another one if you'd like. Its just a good, basic case with quality.
