I need a computer that can run modern games and render things from blender at a reasonable speed. I have amazon prime, hence the Amazon only thing. I already have a moniter, mouse, and keyboard, but I need a good wireless headset and I'd like a webcam, if you can suggest anything. I know how to put the parts together pretty well and anything I can't figure out, I can Google.

Thanks.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I already have a Western Digital WD7501AAlS 750GB hard drive, so I don't think I need another one.

I bet I don't get free two day shipping from newegg, do I?

On the contrary...you get free three day shipping from Newegg. For the price of the parts you would spend extra on Amazon...you could easily pay for Newegg's ludicrous overnight shipping.

Not true at all. Exact same parts on amazon are 45 bucks cheaper than newegg+free ship+the fact that amazon cant tell if something's doa so you have an easier return.

Hey there! I checked out your claim...I just spent the last 30 minutes strolling through Amazon's Computer Components. The prices are very similar...most I've seen is a $8 difference in the parts I have for my computer. The parts in the list are a wee bit less expensive. The power supply for example is $70.99 on Amazon and only $54.99 on Newegg.

Newegg doesn't offer free shipping (just checked...I was wrong before.) However...its only $8 for three day shipping which what you save on Newegg is well worth it. Since he'd be ordering a tower case from Newegg as well...there would be an additional $8 fee for shipping which even with that...still would be under the amount it would cost him to pay for the parts from Amazon.

I have been checking amazon as well. The only thing more expensive is the mobo i chose. everything else is 10-15 bucks cheaper and free shipping...

At any rate, they're both good retailers

You're very welcome! You should be able to run Battefield 4, 1080P with at least 35-45 FPS on maximum settings with that computer.

I had to deal with a bad computer once when I was building my gaming computer...I know how it is...its awful. Have fun!

170$ for the FX4300 and CPU cooler :O :O i5 4460 can be had for 180$. 😛

I do not mean any offence to anybody, I want to know if everybody thinks if i5 4460 is much worse than FX4300 +cooler 😛
Motherboards/ overclocking we can discuss later.

No not at all...I have the same exact one for one of my other computers...just read the instructions and it will take you less than 15 minutes :) .

I didn't go the Intel route because it would of cost him more money than he was willing to spend at the moment. AMD is the next best thing for the money.
