Best gaming system for $1000

Hey guys - I'm sorry for asking a question that I'm sure has been asked a million times before but I did search around and couldn't exactly find all the answers I was looking for so I just figured I'd post.

I'm looking to buy a prebuilt comp for about 1000 bucks for gaming. I wanna play games like SCII, skyrim, diablo III on ultra-settings.

I was considering buying from cyberpower but it looks like alot of people are getting screwed by them so I also need to know a place to buy from. Also I don't know anything about overclocking but I guess i'd be willing to try it (would i need to?) so i guess that factors in too.

I have no experience with Cyberpower, so I can't comment on that. However, the only thing I would add would be an aftermarket HSF. That will keep the CPU temp low and give you some thermal headroom for overclocking if you go that route in the future.

You might consider a Z68 board as well. Any particular reason you aren't building it yourself?

Not too easy but.... - if you can put together an IKEA shelf and you follow the guides at Tom's and the user manuals - I bet you'll be fine. Plenty of helpful people here if you get stuck.

I will put together a computer I would buy for a grand from newegg just give me 30 or more minutes.

Also, for the hard-drive, I was reading reviews that said it can fail or go bad within a year or something? Since when do hard-drives "go bad" what does that even mean? Could I settle for a cheaper hard drive?

HDD usually go bad after 3 years, never heard of HDD going bad in a year... HDD can last you at least 3-5 years before it start having errors...

dual graphics are better than one more expensive card in most cases trust me that is a good set up

or if there is a case you like the looks of better but that one I chose is good as it is especially how much you save as a combo
also want to get it by tomorrow as some things I chose have coupon codes that help the price.

Andrew - when I said not too easy - remember this is his first - 30 min? I think a first timer that is taking his/her time should be able to easily do it under 3 hours. As for the graphics choice I would suggest a GTX560Ti or a HD6950 if you can swing it for $220-240. If this is too much consider a GTX4601G for $160-190. One good card, in many ways is a better option than 2 in x-fire or SLI. This way you can add another later if you need. It would suck if you need more graphics power down the road and you have to cash in your SLI.
Think about the games you mentioned - all need major GPU power!!!!

GET 2GB OF VRAM IF YOU WANT 60+ FPS!!!!!!!... Any game on a monitor at 1920x1080 or above, get 2GB or higher than 1GB...
