Best GDDR5 GPU under 100$

Hi all,Bharath here.I am from India.So eh... Every GPU is somewhat Costlier here.I am in need of a GDDR5 GPU under 100$ Oh and BTW,I use a Crap Zebronics 450w Local PSU which has one Molex free and NO PCI-e Power connector !!

System Specs

i5 2500K Stock Clock
Intel DHC7CL SATA 3 PCI-e 2.0 USB 3.0
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel HD 3000 and Geforce 210
Zebronics 450w PSU

And,Will a PCI-e 3.0 GPU fit in 2.0 ?

I will be playing GTA 4,NFS Rivals,MW 2012.etc,DMC 5 and All I need is 30 FPS+ on Full Medium Settings on 1366X768 Resoltion.

I like AMD GPU but Nvidea is also prefferable

Is the Sapphire R7 250X 1 GB GDDR5 a Good Card ? Anything better than this for 100$

Not sure of local prices.
I'll list everything that fits your criteria with the best performing cards at the top.
I've excluded any cards that have TDP higher than 100W, as I wouldn't trust them with your power supply.
I've listed GDDR5 for models where there is a DDR3 version available.
In these cases you want the GDDR5 version.
For other models, only GDDR5 is available.
Go as far down the list as you need to to find something that fits your budget.
GTX 750 Ti
GTX 750
R7 260
R7 250X
R7 250 GDDR5
R7 240 GDDR5

The R7 250X you have suggested is in the middle of the range.
It is a lot slower than the GTX 750 and 750 Ti.
It is a lot faster than the R7 240 and 250.
The R7 250X will give you medium settings at 1920x1080 for graphically intensive games.

The GTX 750 is a little slower than the R7 260X and the GTX 750 Ti is a little faster than the R7 260X.
You can see from the bench marks that these are significantly faster than the R7 250X, and could handle higher detail settings than used in these bechmarks.
The R7 250 on the other hand is much slower and may require lower detail settings.

These are last generation cards that have been rebranded.
Nothing wrong with the older cards, but they are not readily available.
HD 7770 = R7 250X
HD 7850 = R9 270
HD 7870 = R9 270X

The problem with the HD 7850 or R9 270 is the power they use.
The HD 7850 is rated at 130W and the updated R9 270 is rated at 150W.
These are not really suitable on a cheap 450W supply, which can probably only deliver less than 20A on the +12V rails.
Even 95W for the R7 250X may be pushing it.

actually the R7-R9 are renamed after the 7000 series but they problem with them renamed one the R9 is that there still not as powerful like the 7950 is two years old and matches up the R9 280 and can be overclocked to almost be as good as the 280x and GTx 780

The R9 280 is a re-badged HD 7950. Very little has changed.
The performance is a little better than the GTX 760, not as good as the GTX 770 let alone the GTX 780.
Beside the point for this thread anyway, power usage is too high, price is too high and performance is more than necessary.

the price for the 7850 or 7770 are not high actually and im recommneding him a card THAT IS UNDER 100$ even thought he can run the game on ultra and get more than 30fps

I've just re-read you post and noticed you are only aiming for medium settings at 30 FPS+ 1366x768 resolution.
The R7 250X is perfect for this, you could easily get 30 FPS at 1920x1080 with medium settings.
My only concern is the power usage with your power supply, but it should be OK.
If you can afford the extra for the GTX 750 it would be a much faster card with lower power usage.
If it is out of your budget, the R7 250X should be fine for what you want.

One big problem is I am in Deep love with that Crazy 60w Nvidea GTX 750 Ti which will be perfect for that Godcrap Motherboard and PSU,My Budget is very limited.It is INR 8000 or 100$.Here The GTX 750 Ti sells for INR 12,000 or 150$ which is way outta my Budget.If I could strech my budget upto there,I can go for the GTX 750 Ti Eyes Shut and Moreover Why should I even Ask you whether the R7 260X or the GTX 750 Ti ? !! I am an Intel User but I am an AMD Fan Basically First off for their Naming for those APUs,CPUs and GPUs and then Finally their Muscle on Design and Power Hunger and Loudness.Am I the Only Guy here to like Loud Power-hungry GPUs ?! But Anyway,Is there something better Now than the R7 250X ? Something coming up Under 5 Months from Now which is Better in my Budget ? And BTW,Will these 100$ GPUs Bottleneck that Good Ol' Beast CPU,The i5 2500K Stock Everything ?! Thanks

There is nothing better right now for your budget and your power supply than the R7 250X.
Everyone is expecting a new generation of cards from AMD, but no-one is sure when this will be.
I'm guessing the GTX 750 Ti will eventually be re-badged as the GTX 940 after Nvidia releases more Maxwell cards in the 900 series.

The Core i5 2500K is a very good CPU and will generally not be what is limiting your frame rates.
This means you could call any graphics card the "bottleneck" depending on the graphics settings.
The R7 250X gives you medium detail settings.
Better graphics cards would give you higher graphics settings.

I am getting Jawdroping Offers for used HD 7770 as low as 70$ that is INR 6000 so I am a bit Messed up here.I know the R7 250X is a Re-badge of the HD 7770 but I am hearing many people saying that the R7 250X has a Newer Direct X Version and is Overall Better in Gaming like 3-4 FPS.I am too confused.Can you help me out here ? A new R7 250X or a Used HD 7770 ? I will be using this GPU for atleast 2 Years.Thanks

When it was released, the HD 7770 supported DirectX 11.2 and this is what is on their website.
The specs for the R7 250X list DirectX 12.
DirectX 12 hasn't actually been released yet but AMD has announced that it will be supported by all GCN graphics cards onwards, which included the HD 7770.

The R7 250X and HD 7770 have exactly the same GPU. It really is just a rename. Performance is exactly the same. If you can get a HD 7770 cheaper than an R7 250X, there is no reason not to get the older card. The only thing you have to consider is if you really want a used card.

yeah no problem but if you are gonna do gaming like bf4 you might wanna get the 7850 because the 250x will not be able to run that game to well
