Hi.
I have an 8120 @ stock clocks (3.1ghz) (i dont have the cooling for an oc ;|)
A shitty 6670 ddr3 2gb
16gb of ram
a 600 or 700w PSU (not sure)

I need a new GPU to increase my performance in games. After scouring the net, I just cant tell which one is better, so I thought i'd ask the experts :) I'll be gaming at 1080p, 1 monitor only!

Im in the UK so UK sites only!!

The cards I am currently looking at are
Also, Im trying to stay with ATI/AMD cards as they come with free games at the moment (tomb raider, bioshock infinite, farcry blood dragon and crysis 3, all in different bundles from different sites)

XFX DD Black Edition 7850 2gb
XFX DD Black Edition 7870 2gb
2GB Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition
3GB XFX Radeon HD 7950 DD (probably the only 7950 in question, as the sapphire ones are £260 which is out of budget 🙁 )
I may also be able to push for a 660ti, although I dont know which.

Im looking to get good FPS in games like Black ops 2, Bioshock Infinite and Borderlands 2 , all on the highest (or maybe slightly lower than the highest, I dont really mind) settings.

Solution
As you've noticed the XFX DD is about the least expensive 7950 out there, I have one and it's bl**dy fast, even at stock 800/1250 frequencies.
Downside is it gets 'noticeable' under heavy gaming load-but no more so than a fast running case fan.
You could aim just a little lower and look for a 7870 LE, they're actually a slightly cut down 7950, usually marked as 'LE' or 'XT'. They're almost as fast as a stock 7950 and if you can push an overclock, faster. And cheaper.
Ah! and here's one now:

As with any large upgrade, check the power supply can cope, if it lacks the 6/8 pin PCI-E power leads to run the card you have in...

A few-hopefully- helpful names: Dabs, Misco, Aria, CCL, Overclockers, Ebuyer, Pixmania, Scan and Novatech.

Thanks! I think I'll go with the 7870 LE that you posted - if I can oc it I'll be happy, but if I can't it's no big deal I guess.
