best gpu for 1024x1280

i have a "square" monitor 5:4 with the resolution of 1024x1280. it is considered 720p HD but is something more.. i would like a card that can have any game, any texture at 60fps but think of the money. With an athlon 840 and 8gb ram i was thinking of r7 360, r7 370, r7 260x, r7 265, gtx 750ti, gtx 950, rx 460 and rx 470 also for new games. i dont think of getting a new monitor but i dont say no after a year or so.. a bit expensive in pair with a gpu. which would make for me? i say again its more than 720p but if possible i would like to keep it if i buy a bigger 16:9 monitor (i know the hierarchy but cannot distinguish the appropriate gpu among them)

Well from the gpus you listed, the rx470 is probably the best, and it will be able to play games at 1080p aswell, but it won't max out game 60fps at 1080p.

btw what is your cpu and psu?

An athlon 860k and thermaltake 470 tr-2 (470w)

how long do you have that psu? its quite old isn't? you might wanne get a new one then.
The athlon should be fine

Yeah its quite old but its quiet and efficient enough and 470w are enough
