I am currently using a radeon hd 5450 1gb gpu. it barely manages to play games at 1024*768 resolution.

I am right now planning to make a budget gaming pc. here are the specs i am interested

AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 ghz

i need a GPU worth handling 19" LCD monitor without overkil. Budget -- Upto $180

Help guys

Also is the processor good for handling games at this resolution??

Solution
well,
no offence to the 7770 but the 7850 is much better

look at 1680x1050,
the 7770 good enough for that resolution.
but why get something that is good enough, rather than something that is a lot better than just "good enough"
with a 7850 u can be a lot future-proof, and u can put higher AA too!!
and in some games 7770 can just push 30+ FPS, what will happen after 2-3 years?
and given that the next gen consoles, might launch this year or next,
the 7770 would be too weak, but 7850 is a lot powerful than the 7770,
last longer than the 7770
and therefore a better choice

please tell your max resloution

Could The 7770 handle 19" screen. it comes in a lower budget. How greater will be performance of 7850 in comparison with 7770 and 5770/6770

Solution
no newegg does not ship to india but you can order from flipkart.com
and i would also suggest you get the 7850 if you can spare the extra cash. 7770 costs about 8000 rs while 7850 costs about 13000 rs. but 7850 will easily last you 3 years while 7770 maybe about 2 years so its upto you to decide. save now or future proof yourself?
