Best GPU for $260

Solution

Sending him down the river a little aren't you? why would he get the 660 over the 760 when it's the better card for that budget?

For $260 the best card is the GTX 760, the HD 7950 is quicker but less effective on the graphic details so it's a toss up but I'd probably go for the 760.

or the 7950 if you want to save $20 or so.

Here's the performance:

The GTX660 Ti usually isn't worth it for the price (GTX760 is a bit faster and costs the same or less) but it depends on your prices and what deals you can find. So this chart will tell you how the cards compare (divide the faster card result by the slower card to get percentage difference) so that you can decide what's a good buy.

Solution

Okay sweet! So there basically the same card except that one has the ACX cooler?

I actually have one more question!

Doing further research on my build I am wondering if the GPU im going to buy will working the PSU im buying.

So im buying this GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130932
and this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182262

the GPU says its needs 500 watts or greater power supply with a minimum of 30 amps on the +12 volt rail. Does that PSU support that? I know it does it watts but what about the minimum of 30 amps on the +12 volt?
