Hello, new here. My build currently is an 8 core CPU AMD, 16GB RAM, and a Nvidia GTX 770. I'm not sure how good this is in terms of what the "best" components are, so please give me your opinion. Since Christmas is around the corner, I was thinking about upgrading the GPU. What is considered the "best gpu for an AMD cpu"? 700$ is how much I'm willing to spend c: Thanks.

Also, if I should upgrade anything else, please let me know.

This may help. On a 1920 x 1080 resolution it can get to up to 65 FPS.

"Our Crysis 3 benchmark is based on real-world gameplay. Fairly consistently, it appears to be platform-bound, though. It might be tempting to suspect a v-sync issue, given the average frame rates at 1920x1080 clumping up at 60 FPS. However, if you look back to our R9 290X review, you’ll notice averages in the 65 FPS range"

Take a look at it perform in a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVmiIQ5D0K4

The guy who did this, may have recorded with Fraps or some other generic recording software which soaks up a lot of FPS in a game. You also have an AMD CPU which will also optimize with an AMD GPU.

TWO 770's however is a nice graphics solution.

This is what...

It is a newer card, Your system will see a nice partnership with an AMD card and CPU. There are more a more games coming out which are become optimzied for AMD cards.

You would however see a very big performance increase if you dual SLI with another 770. The 8350 would not bottleneck.

So what would you recommend for the best FPS on games, like crysis 3? Currently on that game at highest settings possible, on 1080p, I get about 25 FPS. That's with my single 770. What would happen if I plugged in one 290x? How about 2 770s?
