I always have issues finding bench marks for GPUs. I am a content creator so the slightly higher clock speeds in the RTX line can be nice but I also render a lot of 4k video and occasionally use 3D modeling. I am looking for the best card to perform these tasks. I pretty much stick to solidworks and adobe CC.

I'm working on a new build now and am debating on the 2080RTX TI or going with 2 quardro p4000s.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

After trying some quadros cards (low end) for content creation several times personally, I would not recommend it unless your really need it.
For the same amount of money, you will get more from the GeForce lineup than from Quadro.

Low end Quadros like P4000 are not very attractive in my opinion. Unless you are aiming for the high end Quadros with ECC, which could be needed e.g. for the final rendering jobs, I do not see the necessity to get a Quadro instead of GeForce.

Hi theEmbark,

I think the dual Quatro P4000's are an excellent choice for the price, and for what you do. I also use Adobe CC, Mathworks, ERP and deploy lots of VDIs. I went with the P5000 to avoid SLI. Also, you probably already know the biggest reason you can never use a GTX GeForce and while does have to do with running True 10bit color, on an actual True Color Monitor, it's all about OpenGL.

If like me, you became curious and tried in the past like I did, then you know the result when attempting to use Photoshop CC (or CS6, 5.5, etc.) with ANY GTX model. IMHO, they are second to none for gaming, but when you need a professional GPU due to the work you do, a Quatro is required. Good luck.
