Best GPU For Editing

I need a GPU for video editing.

Res: 1080p30 and 4K30

Software: Davinci Resolve

Mobo: MSI B250M Gaming Pro

I want a smooth timeline. I don't care about rendering times.

for 4k 30fps, rx480 8gb would do perfectly. but at the same time, its cpu dependent though. only a i7 or ryzen 7 can handle it perfectly.

Yes the 7700K will but the ryzen 1700 will do better for the multi core same for streaming.

the rx 580 equivalent is the gtx 1060. and yes, comparing 7700k and ryzen 1700, 1700 is the better choice here for ur needs
