Nvidia GPUs run better on dual-core hyper-threaded Intel CPUs than AMD GPUs do. A GTX 1060 would run better than an RX 480. Though it will lose some performance at times of CPU bottleneck, but not much. Still much better performance than if you used a 1050 Ti or RX 470.
